Terra Nova is a community in Chula Vista, California with a variety of single-family homes and townhouses. Residents are close to freeway access, stores, restaurants, parks, and recreation.

The Chula Vista Elementary School District offers highly rated facilities like Clearview Elementary. The Sweetwater Union High School District is in charge of the older grades with excellent schools such as Bonita Vista Middle and Bonita Vista High. Some families may prefer private schooling with several facilities to choose from including St. Rose of Lima School, Saint John’s Episcopal School, Mater Dei Catholic High School, and Lutheran High School of San Diego. The city claims Southwestern College, one of San Diego’s four private colleges.

There are many golf courses in this region and the Chula Vista Municipal Golf Course features a championship course as well as facilities for special events. Chula Vista is the seventh largest city in the state’s southern region and the second largest in the San Diego area. The Nature Center features exhibits of insects, rays, sharks, birds of prey, and water birds.
